Two Sides Of A Coin

How great is the Lord?
How old and how wise?
Who compares with His power?
Who can vie with His love?
He created the Earth
And the heavens above.
Who is like unto Him,
Who's the ancient of Days?

Who can love like the Lord?
Who has wells half as deep
As the wells within God that overflow
With mercy and love
For the poor and the weak.
He weeps for them still
Until Justice is done.
And his love never ever runs dry.

Who has wrath like the Lord?
Wrath which, although slow,
Shakes the Earth,
Bringing kings to their knees.
It cannot be escaped,
Wherever you run.
Who can stand in the face
Of such terrible wrath?

Who has grace like the Lord
When He went to the cross
Bringing both love and wrath to a close.
Justice was done
Yet the guilty went free.
Mercy and Justice
Are now sides of a coin
And that coin we now call calvary.
